The Weatherbeeta ComfiTec Premier Trio Detach-a-Neck.

Why is it so great? Well aside from being a unique Weatherbeeta turnout rug in that it has a detachable 200g polyfill inner liner which provides additional and optional warmth, it has a multitude of incredible features that transform it from the rug you want to the rug you need.

Weatherbeeta ComfiTec Premier TrioGoing back to what we previously said, the Trio isn't called a Trio for no reason. A three-part rug, 210D Inner Liner, 1200D Outer and a Detachable Neck Piece, that can be interchanged to create an all year round rug, that is perfect for any weather or season.

The 100g Polyfill outer has Weatherbeeta's outstanding triple weave repel shell technology allowing for a strong and durable rug that is waterproof however still allows your horse's skin to breathe. A strong, waterproof turnout is very important however if your horse can't roam freely or have a good run around the field, then it might as well be a stable rug. Luckily, the Trio has a traditional side gusset which allows a better fit and a more natural, free, increased shoulder movement without being restricted by the shape of the rug, gusset however, the gusset doesn't affect the strength or style of the rug so is an incredible addition to the rug. With a rug that allows such free movement, you may worry that the rug may move too much and cause it to rub. However, this isn't the case; Fitted to the underside of the outer is a Memory foam wither which is specifically designed to contour to your horse's shape and lift the rug off the Wither, which will dramatically reduce any rubbing that may occur and ensure that the horse's maximum comfort is achieved whilst still allowing the free movement that the gusset provides. So we've covered comfort and movability, but what about the fit of the rug? Well, WeatherBeeta have you covered there as well:  Quick clip front closure means that whether your fingers are numb with cold or slippy with sweat, it is easy to quickly adjust frotn closing tabsthe rug to the perfect fit and clasp the rug together; Elasticated, easy-adjustable and detachable leg straps allow a customisable yet secure and comfortable fit that won't cause your horse discomfort whilst running; and Twin low cross surcingles to fasten the rug and stop it from slipping or twisting during everyday movement and rough rolls in the mud, creating a super snug perfect fit.

The Outer is an essential part of the rug, however, the thing that really makes this turnout stand out from other rugs is it's detachable 200g polyfill inner liner. For starters, if 200g polyfill isn't quite the right level of warmth for you then how about a 300g polyfill liner? Too warm? How about a 100g polyfill liner! Yes if you'd like even more warmth customisation you can buy 100g and 300g liners separately for the perfect interchangeable rug. Although different in weight, thetouch tape front closure features of the liners are the same and are perfect for your horses comfort. The liner has a shoulder gusset, to keep the natural movement that the outer provides and a simple, yet secure single touch tape chest strap, touch tape neck tabs and trigger clips at the rear to make it easier to put on and secure in place.

So that wraps up our Weatherbeeta Comfitec Premier Trio Review, it is a highly adaptable, comfortable and adjustable rug that is perfect for all year round, no matter what the weather or style of play that your horse enjoys. If you'd like to purchase this incredible rug for yourself, then look no further!
